V-twin

      Plowman's Carts is the Pioneer of V Twin powered performance engines for the Yamaha G16 carts. We have engineered and tested all of the components to make this performance transition a snap for our customers. The kit comes complete with all required components for an OEM fit and finish. The crank shaft is machined to accept the factory Yamaha clutch and clutch puller. We have also specifically designed a performance clutch kit for this V Twin. Jetting will be correct for customer application and altitude. This kit also comes standard with a performance fresh air kit and relocated oil cooler to the side of the engine allowing more fresh air flow than the factory rear location as well as a relocated oil filter housing for improved access. Factory exhaust is modified to properly to fit chassis. Exhaust will be modified (included) for performance and noise levels from mild to wild per the customers request. Factory decompression is modified to eliminate valve train noise at idle. Performance is very smooth throughout the power band. Stock gearing produces speeds of 45 MPH and 55 - 60 MPH with Plowman's high speed gear sets. This motor will idle at 800 RPM in neutral and effortlessly shift from forward to reverse. Dyno tests indicate stock power at 23HP. Plowman's modifications have increased the stock power to 28HP. Our customers have been very happy with our V Twin kits.
